Sorry about the poor photo on this but it's very late:=)
I am continuing to populate the initial vastness and do so "at my whim" and included as a big part of that whim is that I place evidence of the NOW in my work.
The smaller picture is an example of what I am saying. The image, from the lower right corner of the painting, is one of Mr Pugs, Genee's pet and buddy who died unexpectedly this week from a complication with his breathing.
The Pug breed is prone to breathing problems as the result of selective breeding.
So, as u can see Mr Pugs, a wonderful little guy ans buddy, has found his way onto the panel. There are other images within this painting that indicate this weeks experience.
This accumulation NOW is what separates a painting from a photograph. A photograph is the instant and the painting is an accumulation of time and space as to create a NOW of great substance which registers on subconscious levels.
