The French prime minister recently said of Bush, in so many words, that Bush was the "Cockiest" person he has ever met.

 I think this observation explains why we are in the position we are as a country.

 "Cockiness" is best characterized by the fact that a Cocky individual always overestimates the value in his power and always underestimates the power in the value of others.

Confidence ( particularly when raised to the level of "Cockiness") and competence, are two very different animals, and in the case of this President, very very different!

What's equally pathetic, is that in large part, we as a country, fell for it!

I'm talkin' about hook, line, and STINKER.

Go ahead and  tell me it isn't so!
